Kindred Spirits Kennel is dedicated to providing excellent care to all the animals entrusted here. A special goal is to provide a place where elderly pets and ones with special needs can board. With special attention to the individualized care they may require.

The Kennel

We operate a modern facility built in 2003. The building hosts many skylights making the space bright and airy. Features include radiant heated floors which are sealed with epoxy to ensure sanitary clean up between each canine. Each kennel has a covered outdoor run which connects with four large fenced in play yards. Kindred Spirits is located in a beautiful country setting on land with lots of acreage for wooded walks.

The Cattery

Located on the second floor of the main building, the cattery is well insulated from the kennel area. The room is large and bright with many windows and four skylights. Eack Kitty Condo has multiple levels with it's own ventilation and a consealed litter box. A large homey area to romp or stretch is also available.

Various types of bedding & scratching posts
Stuffed animals, rope toys, Frisbees, & balls
Fresh cat nip & bird house views

Day Boarding

When space is available we offer day time fun for your pet while you're busy at work. Four large exercise areas are available for playtime with other dogs.

A Pampered Pet

We're pleased to announce that Christina Abbott of A Pampered Pet now provides full on-site grooming services available by appointment. Please call (207) 469-7200.

Boarding Prices
Boarding includes Iams® Pet Food, many play sessions, treats, & toys.

Dogs

$18.00 per overnight ($10 charge for late pick-up)
$12.00 for day care (if space is available)
10% off for two dogs on the same run

Cats

$9.00 per overnight

Hours
For your convenience, we are open 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Sunday - Friday — 8am to 11am & 4pm to 6pm
Saturday — 8am to Noon

Immunizations
For the safety of your pet and other boarders, we require proof of the following immunizations. For dogs, please provide proof of Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella (canine cough). For cats, please provide proof of Rabies and Distemper.
